Never understood GK and Barriss...
Can someone explain to me why so many people say this is a good combo? They are excellent characters separately, but when put together, GK gives Barriss critical immunity and allows you to blow her up...

First of all kenobi lead gives her extra health and defense which means she can take less on hit and heal more. Very few characters have enough damage to penetrate that. Kenobi is almost unkillable. There is literally no character in the game right now who can hit him more than what he heals so he is immortal.
Now the crit immunity only lasts for one turn so there is very few characters who can kill her in one rotation without crits. That combined with cleanse- protection recovery by Thrawn and stealth by R2 makes it very hard to kill them.
In addition Barriss has a cleanse at the end of each one of her turns. This will cleanse any debuffs on kenobi and he will taunt again. The only way to stop Kenobi is fracture. Lastly Barriss gains TM when she is hit so she can have her turn more often.
I have no issue beating any other tank with Zarriss but not kenobi.
