New interesting Arena Teams

KRU (lead), CP, VM, DN or OB, MT should be a fun team.

Mish-mosh of OP characters or exact same team as everyone else are basically your two options for arena nowadays.

Rex utilize our unused toons. If u wanna go full new meta empire/sith, u must at least work on 1 new char: sion, and it's very long journey for just 1 char, also with zeta requirement to work.

Rex is like recycle lead, u put (old) OP char there, move mods here and there, it will work.

in the moment i use three arena teams. depending on the opponent.

-new rey with bb8/r2/b2/cls
-nightsisters
-first order with new kylo and old kylo/pilot/officer/trooper

ok, the sisters and new rey are meta, perhaps b2 is a little bit exotic, but works well against palpatine/vader teams with two tanks...

i also hate the mainstream, but if i want to earn some crystals, i have to use good teams. as commander luke came out, i used my fo-team inder phasma-lead. good mods, all zetas! before luke i was rank 1 sometimes, for sure top10. with luke came the boring arena dominance and i was the best dark side team in the arena. (one of two in top50) how boring! only lukes in the top ten...

ok, new rey is meta, but with the two droids came the idea of a droid team.

why?

because bb8 has good synergies with them. 8% turnmeter for each droid for each move!
if bb8 evades, he gives 8% health and 8% protection to each droid.
r2d2 is also good
b2 was a „birthday-present“, i got him with a chromium-pack, on the next birthday i made him gear 12 1/2. (very subjective joice, but ok, there is no other b2 in my arena group)

ok, three well geared and moded droids. who else?
hk-47 has a meta-leader-ability
and i needed am attacker. i tried it with ig-88 because of his (expected...) good damage and the ability-blocking and health imunity.
alternative after hos rework: general grevious.

after weeks i had my gold team
hk-47 gear12
ig-88 gear12
bbi gear 12 1/2 and both zetas
r2 gear 12 1/2 without zetas (perhaps he will get the next one)
bw gear 12 1/2

and what was?

NO CHANCE in the arena, hitting like cold noodles isnöt enough for other meta-teams! the droids are the fastest team in the arena, start with 40% tm, and get 50% tm after a critical hit, but like the ewoks only speed and turnmeter doesn‘t kill the other squad...

it‘s very difficult to build an interesting team, because only some teams are meta. today there are some sisters/new rey/palpatine-vader teams, so not total boring, but it‘s not longer the time of only one team, we have to use 2/3 teams.

btw also in the ship arena i had to learn, that home1 has no chance against the thrawn-chimäre. boring, but they want no different motherships in the arena.

all i can do, is sit and wait for an droid-update, then i am prepared. but i like each „no-mainstream“ team and hope the can make good ranks and crystals!

For the Droid guy, I dont have a droid team, but I use Chop a lot. I think chopper has good droid synergies and is naturally fast. He is fast enough to go first with good mods and BB8. Maybe replace B2 so you have a taunter? Also IG88 can hit incredibly hard if the other team is debuffed. Im suprised damage was your issue.

i forgot, chopper is also gear12, because of his good droid synergies. but in the arena i need one attacker in a droid-team. tried him with new rey, bb8/r2/b2. win and lost, finally no bad choice! assist chance and cooldown and taunting!

He has buff removal and TM removal too, and can apply offense and defense up and self heals. I think he is very underrated.
