Is chimera ship better than tarkin ship ?

I think Chimaera is overall better, but Tarkin is still competitive. When you are on offense, you have an advantage because the system doesn't know how to use the abilities or target correctly--that kind of AI is beyond the scope of this game. So the problem that Ackbar and Mace leads have against Tarkin is the ultimate wipes them as they are about to take out the last ship. Against Chimaera I imagine the danger is getting wiped by the starfighters, but if you draw it out and can beat the enemy fleet first, maybe you have an edge if Chimaera ultimate targets the wrong ship or something (this is guesswork, as I've never attacked Chimaera with anything but Chimaera).
On offense, that enemy Tarkin ship will never use the ultimate...you've plowed through them by then. In the rare case where a battle has ever been drawn out so long that I need to use my ultimate, it still goes before the enemy. And I think that situation is mostly against other Thrawns.
Mace with the right team can be annoying in that maybe the battle can get drawn out to 3 minutes with bad RNG, but Inwould say there's no danger of losing. It's certainly easier to tear through any tough ships with taunt than other leads.
