Should i waste ally points

Today I had 890k ally points,now i have 795k.


Made a macro and left it to run for about 10 minutes.(hey not my fault they aren't doing a mass sim for these points,I aint wasting my time clicking like a madman.)

I got 1500 shard store points and some good gear/25 character shards.


My question is ,they said a long time ago,that they don't know what they will do with these points

My fear is that they will

1:Completely erase them and give me some rewards depending on how much I have,and that is a thing that I absolutely don't trust because I know EA and they will give me weak rewards.

2:Literally do nothing with it for 2-3 more years and i'll hit 1.5 million of those and do nothing with them.

3:Make a store out of them and risk angering players that consumed those points .

    Spend them. There is not even a rumour of them being useful any time soon. All shards converted in shard store currency which will buy you a lot of gear.

    That extra gear is more likely to help to gain better rewards in raids, TBs and arena battles over the next 12 months than probably anything else EA could create as reward for ally points.

    I think im going to stop at 500k and see what i've got. And maybe get back at 700k then redo

    I think the only reasonable thing for them to do with ally points, if they ever do something other than what they're doing now, would be to:

    1) Stop them entirely and when you consume ally points down to less than a bronzium card, the bronzium cards and ally points goes away.
    2) Do a mass consume for anyone that has any bronzium points, awarding your the typical bronzium rewards, before changing their purpose. That is, get everyone back down to a base of 0 before accumulating them from some grander scheme so as not to severely hinder those that have already consumed them because they left them without a real need.

    Personally, I wouldn't mind them not doing anything with them. I like the random free shard shop points from bronziums. Got 25 OG Ahsoka shards today. Only thing I dislike is the red badge they place on the data cards 5 times a day and having to scroll past all of the pay cards in order to get to the bronziums, but I think they did that on purpose to try to entice you to spend, so I get it.

    Did it (currently at 200k)

    Got some sweet gear that i absolutely needed,i now have 5000 shards above that and just got my Imperial Guard(which i planned on farming) HUGELY boosted to 6 stars(he was 4 before)
