Slower toons going first
I have been encountering slower squads going first in arena. Today I just had a whole squad take 2+ turns each before I went. They only had one toon faster than my slowest toon.

This. Most FO teams run a fast FOO to allow them to use him to dictate who goes first. Check the speed of the opponent's foo.
