Slower toons going first
I have been encountering slower squads going first in arena. Today I just had a whole squad take 2+ turns each before I went. They only had one toon faster than my slowest toon.

Just had a mirror match against a nightmare team, most of my toons quicker than my opponents.
My Vader goes first with force crush, and right after comes his DN with his drain, even though he's got only 210 speed (shouldn't Vader get the next turn because of all the debuffs attached, or my Thrawn with 261 speed, or my DN with 216 speed?). That messes up my whole initiative and from there it goes all south...
Tried it twice same result.
Can someone explain to me what happens there, what I overlooked? Maybe his Lord of hunger Zeta?
When 2 characters reach 100% tm at same time rng decides who goes next. Because you put 3-4 debuffs on sion, DN gained 30-40% TM. Congratulations you lost the rng battle of TM.
This goes to show the majority of "why did opponents x go before my y?" can be answered by reading abilities.
Note: I can understand not knowing about rng for multiple characters hitting 100% tm at same time.
