Nope, not for me. I use him, and I love him. I love his ship. I love all of his abilities. That would mean that JTR isn’t useful anymore as she’s not seen as much in arena.

On a side note I was running him in my arena team when SiT and Nest were a couple and had no problems climbing... now ... can’t even call him mediocre

On the shelf? He’s still useful in:

1) Non-Traya Empire/Nightmare Teams
2) Heroic Rancor Lead
3) And.....Tie Advanced is still one of the BEST ships. If you have a G12,zzVader your ship will be better than most opposing Tie Advanced...

HAAT as well. Heals himself every culling blade. Not too shabby.

I still use vader in arena since I don't have traya yet. Ep nightmare can beat traya and bastilla if modded right. There aren't enough revans to make me fall any further than before and vader doesn't seem to make me a target since all the traya teams are also easy wins.

And as stated by others he's still great in ships. I still use him in my team that can take first most days. I also still use him for my twice a week rancor solo.

And I zetaed him quite awhile ago so got my zetas worth out of it and then some.

I have both zetas on Vader and have no regrets. His unique is great for healing. and his leadership is great for Heroic Pit and Tank raids.

Is he as dominant outside of ships as he once was, no. Is his leadership completely useless in the game, no.
