If you rank in the 201-500 range in squad arena, you will have a daily crystal income of approximately 150 crystals from squad arena, dailies and daily login rewards. That's enough for 3 x 50 crystal energy refreshes. Add to that whatever crystals you gain from TB and a few individual events. That should be enough to farm the characters you like.
Also, having an active guild, that raids often and has high participation in TB (and TW) helps gearing your favorite characters and farming Han Solo, GK and Traya.
