Gear, level and mod your tarkin to make his ship faster. Level up his ship to make his special more powerful. If your tarkin is slower than your opponent, you can still win by being smart against the AI. Have Tie Fighter in your starting ship lineup and hope it gets some dodges to add TM to your capital ship. And try not to attack the opposing Tie Fighter except with Vader. Also Boba's ship is a great addition.
