To Farm or Not to Farm...that is the question...

^ That's a great post thanks, clarifies the course of action I'd pretty much decided upon.

Two questions...

1. I'm in a guild. I never really know it it's a "good" guild or not. It sounds a stupid question but how would I know? I must say I engage daily doing everything required and never seem to get an awful lot out of it.

2. Ships. Am I right in understanding that if you have a ship for a weak toon you must farm that toon to make the ship better? For example - I have FOTP but have never really done anything with him...but I guess I must to make his ship good?
