Spoiler Alert : English is'nt my native language ;)Hello :)On my alt account (F2P), just got my first zeta and I wonder if I zeta Jyn (Lead) or R2 (Number Crunch)My arena rank is between 40 to 90, and my team is : (August 2016 shard)- Wedge (L) : G9 / 7*- Biggs : G10 / 7*- Lando : G9 / 7*- Chirrut : G11 / 5*- Baze : G11 / 4*I want to sub Lando for zJyn or zR2, but who to choose ?My Jyn has good mods (full crit chance, 220 speed) and G9 / 7* (very close to G10)My R2 has no mods yet and only G8 and 5*...On offense, I beat a full Rogue One team (zJyn/Cassian/K2/Chaze) and it wasn't too difficult.So full R1 team is only good on offense ?With Cassian and K2, it's solid but loose dps without Wiggs...About R2, never play with him, I don't know if he really powerfull in arena, especially against Zaul (on my shard there is 95% Zaul and Rex team in top 50)I have Rex too, but only 6* (45/100) and G8.Rex (L), R2, Chaze and ? But I don't really want the same team as everyone...About Cassian and K2, they are 7* and G8, I started to mod them.So, what is the best team between : (my objective is top 50 every day)- ZJyn, Wiggs, Chaze- ZJyn, R2-D2, Chaze and ?- Wiggs, zR2-D2, Chaze and ?- ZJyn, K2-SO, Cassian and Chaze- ZJyn, R2-D2, Cassian and Chaze- Rex, R2, Chaze and ?Thanks for advices ! :)

I can tell you from experience R2 isn't good on a rogue one team. Jyn and Cassian can gain lots of turn meter and have 2 turns in a row. This causes them to drop stealth very quickly and it leaves them as an easy target for the enemy. Since I took R2 out my rogue one team has been preforming much better. I was using zjyn, Cassian, chaze and R2, I switched R2 for Gk initially but eventually ended up with ATF as my 5th.

Hello Garrett, I advise you to go full R1 team, I have just finish gear them and they are amazing. I already have zeta in Jyn leader ability and Cassian unique (amazing zeta in a full R1 team). I am 8 zetas away to throw the zeta to K2SO but my team is quite solid and I can beat anyone in my shard (they also can beat me as well as we have a very competitive shard).

zJyn if you want to go R1 all the way. R2 if you want for a more all around upgrade. R2 has a lot of synergy on different squad compositions and is a great counter against the current meta. Also, in the future, if you want to change squad compo, you can easily fit r2 anywhere. This is just my opinion though. Not sure if I am correct.

Why not both, I have Jyn and R2 both double zetad and they work amazingly together. If you're using a Jyn lead then Old Ben is also a must. I use RaidHan and Cassian as my other 2. Zeb(zeta), Sabine(zeta), Chirrut (no baze because old ben is better under jyn), and CLS will also be amazing under Jyn.

Just FYI the synergy between Cassian and K2 is meh, you should immediately replace K2 with Old Ben.

The Ideal Team comps with Jyn lead are:

Jyn, Cassian, Old Ben, R2, (RaidHan/Chirrut/Zeb/Zabine)

Jyn, Cassian, Chaze, R2

Of course CLS will fit but if you have him, he might as well be the leader.

I have both those zetas, and they are both very useful. zR2 is useful in about every aspect of the game, zJyn is really only useful in GW and TB. You'll get more mileage out of R2 as your first, but both are very good zetas.

Hello :)

It was in June (first post), so my team is not the same now ;)

CLS (lead, with zeta on it binds all things), Zolo, Z2Z2 (yes both !), Chirrut and Baze.

All G12, and around top 20 (if I have enough time to play)

Thanks for your advice, I confirm, Z2Z2 is very very usefull and more versatile :)

R2 is literally in every meta squad (but nightsisters and empire, ok xD) since wiggs is not meta anymore and u will remove them sooner or later... I think u will have much better long term succes putting this Z into R2 number crunch...

In adition... If u say ur facing a lot of Zaul teams R2 was performed as the first counter for Zaul xD so u cant go wrong in ur shard with ZR2 anyway xD
Keep in mind that R2 unique gives 10% acuracy, and this aoe undodgeable debuff adds 20% less dodge chance to ur enemy... So using R2 zaul teams wont dodge u, making Zaul leader much less efective!

Also R2 can stealth ur whole team (but the tank) so they wont get counterattacks from CLS and other guys xD
