It's possible he used some mods to abuse coliseum.
If this is the case, there is no getting the account back. As you cannot undo the damage done. Not only has your account got extra rewards, you've cost other players rewards. As your account interacts with 'untainted' accounts; there is no way an account that has been hacked will be allowed back into the game system. The taint/effects of the hack and what was achieved/denied because of the hack will always be there.
If it is the case that the account was modified with a hack, the account is dusted, zero chance they'll give it back to you.

So, the bottom line here is you seem to be unclear whether the account has been hacked or not....or to be clear you're being vague about it.
If you don't actually know, you need to clarify it with 'the brother' first. If it is the case that a hack has been used, forget about it and move on. They will know, and there is no chance they'll reopen the account. In this case, it's better you both go your separate ways and start new accounts if either of you wish to proceed with the game.
