My account was hacked yesterday morning, and my ea account unlinked and a new ea account linked to it. EA in game support is telling me this is impossible, however it has happened and now I dont gave access to my PC client.
Where do I go from here after securing my EA account and getting the email and password changed there, changing my iOS password and attempting to contact in game support to no avail.
EA or CG needs to do something about this. Gronco is a long time player, who has been devoted to both his account and his guild. To have EA support so quickly deny this is a tragedy.
Help my man Gronco!
I hope EA can step up and help this man out. Can't let hackers steal what has taken so much time and money to build up.
This guys account is massive, he's crafted it over years and years and and EA support just saying what has clearly happened is "impossible" is a disgrace. Why would anyone want to invest not just years of time but also money into this game when this can happen to anyone? I stopped playing runescape after 20 years because this happened to me and if support won't do anything to help Gronco then im getting out early and moving on to something else.
Braddock512Justice for Gronco! Man's account was hacked and y'all won't help him. SHAME! It took me 3 weeks on here before I got someone at EA to help me when I had an issue. Gronco's account is everything you want as a player. HELP HIM NOW!
I play this game, I spend money on this game, and until yesterday i enjoyed this game. Watching a guild staple like Gronco get his account stolen, his name changed to something Russian, and his payouts altered to an Eastern European time zone only to be told there is nothing to be done and “it’s impossible your account was stolen” while the evidence is obvious has made me want to stop playing. If this issue isn’t resolved you will lose a lot of paying and dedicated players.
Wow that’s crazy. I can’t believe support says it’s not possible. Have you shown them screen shots of the hacker after taking over the account??

Ea, CG, how are you not going to help one of your most dedicated, loyal, and longest tenured players? This is a man who grinds the game everyday, for several years, and who has been compelteing prerequisites to the new GL Ahsoka. This is an absolutely disgrace this hasn’t been resolved within 48 hours. This tragedy of support will be taken to Ahnald and other influencers of this game to spread more awareness on the game’s priorities. This game is more concerned with revenue generated than it is with player satisfaction. ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE!
