After a couple of crashes it seems that the situation has improved (this after deleting the application data).
I'll monitor situation for a few days and then update here.

I have had the exact same issues; I contacted support and for some reason they redirected me to the forums.
I have a OnePlus 3T, 6GB of RAM, lots of free space, the phone is not rooted, the Internet connection is good, running the latest OS version (OxygenOS 5 which is Android 8). Tried cleaning both cache and game data, tried reinstalling, closing background apps but nothing helped. I've been experiencing crashes since late November and they seem to intensify during TB and TW events for whatever reason.
