I just paid $50 for the LS bundle for Dr Aphra. The event kills Hondo on the first round of combat each time. Yes he has god mods equipped.
Is CG going to fix their game or should I demand a refund since what I paid for does not work? This is an awful experience.
her event is a hard one that requires a lot of RNG to beat, you need the right modding and most zetas. (I think I did speed and health focus for that tier)
Sana their (another hard one) I needed offense and potency with as much secondary speed as possible.
The bundle doesn't equate to an automatic win so yeah, go ahead and request the refund. lolol
It IS a frustrating event, for sure. If it helps, go with the above suggestion and go for speed, speed and more speed. Once I swapped to faster mods I flew through the event.
The RNG is unacceptable then. Spending an hour and still not passing a single stage is totally unacceptable. My mods are great.
Faster meaning what? Is a speed & health set with 20+ speed on each not fast enough?
This is garbage and they should fix it.
It is not broken, even if it is frustrating. Everyone who has unlocked Aphra made it through as it is. Take that as confirmation it is possible. I think Hondo tier was the most challenging, but it has been broken down. Look for guides which show several attempts so that when you get decent RNG you make the correct play and complete as soon as possible. It’s unlimited attempts and permanently available so if you get tilted take a break and do it later.
Already looked up and followed multiple guides.
How many retries are required? 500? 1000? Is it quicker to write a bot program to keep testing when the algorithm will allow me to pass? I have a real life job which is how I can afford to waste $50 in the first place.

All this highlights to me is how garbage CG has gotten at making their game worse. I love that this event we most ignored is now highlighting their incompetence as game devs who think garbage like this and the Bracca ROTE missions are acceptable
If it gets to that number you are clearly missing something when good RNG is occurring. Not sure how many tries, but probably an hour once I checked guides.
