Each player should have the same possibilities to advance. Otherwise block this for everyone. New characters are the only way to progress, especially in conquest.
It is easy for EA to treat a small group unfairly, but this law can be spread out to entire Europe. This is going to affect EA's income.
I don't gonna spent another euro in a game that disadvantages people. EA is a big company that can bypass stupid ruling if they wish.
