Buttons disappear with R2D2 vs SLKR

Rey vs SLKR. When Rey and SLKR are both in ult AND SLKR is sole survivor of enemy team, R2D2 disappears from battle when using special ability 2 to burn SLKR. 

There is another post about this from a week ago with Leia and R2D2 titled "buttons disappear along with R2D2". 

I suspect this can be replicated with SLKR alone and R2D2 on any team, but for additional context I am using Holdo Cron with no deaths until everyone below 100% and 25% offense increase per light side death.Team consisted of Rey, Holdo, RH Finn, RH Poe, and R2D2. 

Enemy datacron was doubt cron. Team consisted of SLKR, Kylo Unmasked, FO Stormtrooper, FO Officer, and Hux. 

I was able to replicate this twice while both Kylo and Rey were in ult and R2D2 used special 2 burn against solo SLKR.
