Cannot begin solo journey events

I am able to open the solo journey events and click "Begin Journey" but when I click "Battle", nothing happens.  I have more than the minimum requirements but the battle never begins.  This happens for all of the journeys I have tried such as the Emperor, GMY, Thrawn, and R2-D2.

I am also experiencing the Mace Windu/Endurance Fleet Training tutorial bug.  Prior to this bug I was able to finish Tier 1 of the Thrawn event but now I am getting the behavior I described above.  Yes, I have favorited many ships to push the Endurance off the bottom of the screen but the prompt comes up every time I restart the game.

My account is currently at lvl 47 and I cannot access the Grand Moff Tarkin Fleet Commander Training.

I believe these are all related.  Please reset the Admiral Ackbar Fleet Commander Training (or mark it as complete) so that I can progress my account.
