Captain Ithano Event Error

I completed the Captain Ithano Event for Tier 1 with 3 stars.  Upon completion of the 1st tier when it went to show rewards earned it paid client must be restarted.  After the application restarted I logged I nand it showed I completed Tier 1 with 3 stars but there were no rewards.  No shards for Captain Ithano.  I then went into characters view and did not see it preloaded ready to unlock.  I went back to the event and it shows it completed and would not let me attempt again to unlock Captain Ithano.  Can I get my shards for completing this event?
