Changing email with EA account has unlinked EA connect from SWGOH account

Hello,

I recently attempted to change the email associated with my EA account and found now that when logging into SWGOH I am taken to a new account. The only thing linked to this account should have been the EA account, so this has left me unable to log in. I have the ally code, 452432863, as well as the Player ID and receipts from Google Play purchases I made during a time when the account was connected to my Google Play account. EA support was unable to fix the issue so I can log back into my original account, I still get sent to the new account when trying to launch the game. Is there any known fix for this issue?

    I have the same issue, please let me know if you find a fix. I'm trying to reach out through the help ticket system in-game but they take forever and have poor responses.

      Yeah, I had three different reps last night trying to recover my account. First said he'd look into it and then closed chat. Second said their account locator tool was down and to check back in a few hours. Third said they have no way of accessing the game or finding the account but he'd pass it on as a bug report and then ended chat. I'd really like to not lose ~7 years of progress and all the purchases I've made. Will keep you posted if they have a fix.

    Been trying for two days to get my account reconnected(over 13mil GP), but each rep I get has no idea what's going or understands what i'm trying to explain so it's been frustrating. Two of them didn't even know there was a PC Client and was adamant the only way to play the game was through your phone. Made yet another ticket, hoping I get somewhere with this next one but at this rate i'm keeping my expectations low.
