Chewbacca (Legendary) does not remove buffs with Pulverize AOE

Chewbacca (Legendary) cause no damage and does not remove buffs with Pulverize AOE.

  • @AZgo6 Hi, thanks for the report! This is actually working as expected. I'll try to list the sequence of events.

    1) Chewie uses pulverize. All buffs are removed.
    2) Slkr leadership triggers - "Whenever a Dark Side Ally loses Advantage without scoring a critical hit, they gain Advantage for 1 turn at the end of turn." - the entire team regains Advantage.
    3) Slkr leadership also grants then bonuses for gaining advantage - tanks taunt, attackers gain CD Up, and Support/Healers gain 20% tm.

    I've attached a screenshot showing the before/after, and you can see Hux's turn meter jumped 20%, indicating that's what happened.

    I think the confusion here lies in the timing. The game sees that Pulverize is the last action to happen in the turn, so as soon as pulverize is done, the effects of SLKR leadership are applied so quickly that we can't see it happen.

    When buffs are stripped on an attack, but assists will follow, we can clearly see Advantage not be reapplied until all the assists are finished.

    @EA_HighCommand - do you think this could be flagged for possible improvement - adding a slight delay in the reapplication of Advantage so players see it happening?

    Your explanation of what happened is on spot! Unfortunately with the current tech available to us, it is not possible to implement a specific delay between executed effects, actions, etc.

    So it's only a visual glitch. Thanks for that break down.
    I've always thought that the status icons and the appearing labels of them are in sync since they are for the same effect visualization.

    And yes, that'd be great to see disappearing and reappearing, synced with the labels.

    Too bad it can't be implemented ☹️
