Compensation of 1 credit and 1 crystal

So I just received an ”apology for your inconvenience “ message in the game. It includes 1 credit 1 crystal and 3 chewie shards. 
Has CG started sending out messages to intentionally and unambiguously declare that they don’t care about issues in the game?  Could this be taken as anything other than an intentional insult?

To be clear, the only thing I’m aware of that could trigger a compensation reply is when I very calmly and politely informed them that my game crashed twice during the recent GA. I asked for nothing but figured they’d appreciate hearing when something goes wrong. They then proceed to actively give me the finger.
