Conquest Sector 2

I'm having a glitch in Conquests in Sector 2 on Normal difficulty. I'm currently choosing between two Rey squads. And at the start of the battle with either squad, the enemy R2D2 simply disappears from the battlefield and that's it. No one else moves, and time passes. Because of this, I can't continue.
