Could not join Grand Arena at all!! And support is ignoring me

I made a case here and I was told I would not be getting any compensation because I had not logged in to Grand arena. Which is strange logic, because that is exactly what the case is about.
I was not able to join Grand Arena. Because of a bug in the game it seems.

You will see many other users experiencing the same problem.

No login button for the the new GA round "Always please check back later for next event" around/after 17 september.
Always adamantly checked for Grand Arena each day, No icon also nothing. I thought it was weird and something must've changed in schedule?
Each time I saw 7d,6,d,4d left etc. with nothing to join.
So I have no rewards at all now ☹️

  • @HansDoriz The current Grand Arena ended yesterday. The current Championship is ending in about an hour. Then we will have about a week with no GA, then everyone's rankings will be reset to 0 and a new 4-round Championship will start next week.

    I believe there is an uptick in players missing the GA signups due to confusion between entering the championship vs entering the Grand Arena.

    I strongly recommend you enter the GA and look at the setup map, then exit and do it again to be sure. Unfortunately from a "compensation" standpoint, it's impossible for support to differentiate from someone who "bugged" vs never even thought about signing up. If every player not signed up just makes a similar claim then everyone could just not sign up, and demand first page rewards for absolutely no work.

    It is unfortunate, but seems like a learning opportunity to double check you're in the GA before it starts.

    that is of course very frustrating.

     

    To soothe you, currently you are not missing any GAC, because after the current ended yesterday, the next GAC has been scheduled for the first of October.

    Now to your case with the last GAC. The EA Support is limited with their permission to grant compensations.

     

    If you want to show your Issue to the CG_Dev Team then I would do it in the Forum. Sometimes, even when it is not very often, CG actually replies on posts. Once I saw them answering about a players Issue. Asking for his ally-code to investigate. You can also direct message them. But I don’t know if they read it.

    A. I still have missed rewards, and chance to get higher rank rewards.
    B. What is to say I won't have the same problem again next time..

    Or do you mean because I have a new chance to get new rewards?
    Well.. thats nice. but it's even more about falling behind compared to everyone else, everyone else will also be getting new rounds.

    Read the OP. this is what I did every day.

    I have never had the option to partake in these last 3 rounds of GA. And im not the only one. Your reply is not helping.

    I am just gonna wait for someone official to comment here.

    @HansDoriz Hi, your OP does not mention looking at the map - in fact it describes exactly the confusion that I reference.

    There is literally 23-24 hours to sign up. In that timeframe, there is no "7d, 6d" etc. That countdown is within the CHAMPIONSHIP window. There is an extra click through to enter the actual Grand Arena. if you saw 7d, you were in the wrong window.

    You are welcome to wait for an EA employee to comment, but I am a fairly official source as a Hero, and I am relaying to you what usually gets told to the others who reported similar issues: your claims can't be verified, and without evidence players don't typically get compensation.

    @HansDoriz We don't need multiple threads for this discussion and I see you've added your information to the combined thread (and gotten your response from official EA support).
