Cruise Ship Wifi Issues
Not sure where this report falls category wise, but here it goes...
Was on a cruise. On day 1 while in Port, no issue on cell tower. Also on day 1 at sea, no issue on free trial network. I bought a MB plan, which was on the same ship wifi network....but you had to sign in separately from free ship wifi (for cruise app). Once I bought plan, game never loaded past splash screen. It was almost as if it was remembering free trial network and couldn't get past it. On Day 7 back at port, still wouldn't load on cell tower service... I had to go home, where it recognized my network. Bug? Operator error?
It was a Disney Cruise, if that helps at all. Just feedback to save me or the next poor soul who gives the mouse $90....only to not use it for SWGOH.
So, on Day 1 wifi was free. No issue with service. Then the next day, wifi was free for onboard app...but not for any other app. So, I bought the wifi pkg. At that point, l other apps worked on paid access...just not SWGOH. In fact, when we returned to Port, SWGOH didn't even connect to cell tower connection. I had to get home and connect to my home wifi. At that point, connection returned.
Bottom line, it almost seemed like the app was stuck on the free access wifi...and couldn't let go until it recognized a familiar wifi signal.
