Error Code 9.0 when trying to upgrade a character

Every time I try to upgrade Fennec Shand to relic level 5, I get Error Code 9.0 and I'm forced to restart.  I've tried restarting wi-fi, turning off wi-fi, and reinstalling the game. The issue persi...

I think I might have figured it out. My Fennec Shand is only 6 stars, but 7 stars is required for relic 5. This only occurred to me after reading the most recent update notes. Hopefully the update Monday will make it so players won't have the option to upgrade where it's not allowed.
