Expensive misclick

Hi,

I have done an unfortunate misclick and instead of getting the daily free packs, I must have clicked on one of those 6459 crystal Gungan packs. As muscle memory has it I only realised when the Gungan shards popped up.

This was an accident and in no way intended. I have my Gungans completed the week after they were released.

Would be awesome if you could refund the crystals. I think I got a bit over 1k shard shop currency from it. Or whatever 40 shards gives.

I hope you can see that 1k shard shop currency is not a noteworthy value for roughly 50€ worth of crystals.

Thanks in advamce.

After a week of one-message-per-day back and forth with in-game support I was able to get my crystals back for the gungan surge pack purchase as a "one time show of good faith". But this just happened to me again in shipments and cost me 1280 crystals. I won't put myself through the miserable experience of dealing with support again, but I thought I would come here and let you all know that this problem persists and it's draining resources from people with little to no recourse to refund the purchase. This is not good. Please fix this.

How about a crystal lock that the player can toggle on/off - so that crystals can't be spent unless the currency is set to 'unlocked'? Something... anything to stop the hemorrhaging of crystals to mis-clicks caused by UI latency.

As it stands now, I have to go VERY slow in shipments to make sure I'm clicking all the right things. This is so not good.

This has been happening to me for the last month and it's cost me nearly 10k crystals. I got frustrated enough to make a video myself to show this behavior - it generally happens to me when trying to claim the free bronzium pack.

  • This almost happened to me again today, so I tried to reproduce it.
If you go through things really fast the click seems to not register at the right location.

    https://youtu.be/bYhyEYT3j4s (happens around second 10)

I installed the Microsoft Mouse Highlighter from their PowerToys to highlight where the click happened.

My suspicion was that when I click a package and VERY rapidly move my mouse away from that package the click ingame may register later and open a different package.
The bottom left movement is natural since that is where you need to click to claim the free package.

What you can clearly see on second 10 in the video is: I clearly clicked the free package and the Gungan package opened.

No idea how this happened. Also can't really tell since when the game is not registering clicks at the location and time they happen. Maybe it correlates to some changes that were rolled out recently? I can't recall an earlier instance of buying something wrong. And I do click through the stupid repetitive stuff very fast to save myself some time and brain cells.

I think this can be split apart into 2 things: A bug for not registering clicks properly in the app, and.... a service ticket because I did not expect this to be a thing and not double checking if the free package I clicked on was ACTUALLY the free package.

I hope you can see that flushing 50 bucks worth of crystal down the toilet is not a good buying experience.
