instead of using the button on the top, go ahead and use the form on the bottom with the same email adress instead. reset the password if necessary.
after making sure you can login this way, try using the webstore this way

well then its not a account confusion. Please wait for the next title update. it will allow you to disconnect from ea connect. then you can connect again and it should work.
