Freezing when I go to attack in GA or ROTE

Everytime I click on a territory to attack in grand arena it freezes (even stops the timer). Same thing happens when I click on ROTE event.

Annoying because there is less than 20 minutes in Grand Arena and I can beat it. Tried re-installing and closing and opening and null.
