Hi @jaredb03 and thank you for the report.

Since the gear 12 finisher pieces are having unique stats tailored to the character, they are unique despite having the same name. For example, the Power Cell Injector (Ionic) for Darth Revan has the same name on Bastilla Shan (Fallen) but adds different stats. That is the reason why you can only equip it to the character you are crafting that piece on. If you would like to have a warning before crafting such a piece, feel free to post it on the feedback section of the forum to gain more attention.

As for a gear refund, please get in touch with our Customer Support, which might be able to assist.

Hi @Ferthzi,

Unfortunately, once the piece is equipped to a character, there is nothing we can do. In case of an accidentally duplicate crafted on a character, we are currently working with our Customer Support on a process to get those refunded as a one-time exception. We've already deployed a server fix last week to do so. All details can be found HERE.

The g12 is not equiped, it's just crafted, it's like to duplicate, but juste once 😁 and at the beginning, without to know they are specific to one personnage, the communication was not really clear at this moment...

I know my request is complicated but, if i want really g13 GMY, i do it just after craft the g12 finisher...

i have the same problem with g12 finisher, I prepared G12 finished for general anakin skywalker waiting him to be 7 stars. I used ancien ewok that have the same finished and craft the gear without knowing it was specific to a character.
I call the support they say : post on the forum we can't do anything.
I would just need exceptionnally to refund this craft gear.
Can you help me please ?

@Javin_Vigil62 Hello there.

You are talking about a gear 11 finisher (the last piece to complete gear 11) I think, which are not character specific and not the same topic as this old thread. Unless you mean the piece that requires kyrotech pieces, in which case it is a gear 12 piece.

@Javin_Vigil62 I don’t know if they can help you. The finishers are specific to individual characters. In fact, it even specifically has the name of the character in it - (for ex- Power Cell Injector (Paploo). This was a process improvement to let players know they are in fact different. I don’t remember if there is a reminder prompt (and I’m not willing to risk it on my account right now lol).

There may be nothing that can be done.
