Summarize your bug Everything is fine until yesterday update (mod QOL update). After this update I suffer from game freeze a lot of time. It's happened in every game mode. First, it's happened to my fleet arena. Just after I enter the battle while I'm waiting at loading screen the loading icon that always spin at the center of the screen just freeze. the audio still ongoing. I'm waiting for a few minutes, but it's still freeze then I shut it down. after relaunch into the game, I'm going to fleet arena screen and saw the clock is already count so I lose one battle attempt. It's happened to Conquest too. Freezing at loading screen for a few times. It's happened in Galactic challenge too at the same point at loading screen. But the severe part is when it happened to my Territory War attack. Freezing at loading screen cause me one good team and it's count on enemy team at 1 successful Def. So tomorrow I have a GAC match. This thing will cause me lost for sure. Pls do something.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play the loading screen will freeze at you like 1 out of 10 time

Same here, crashed at least 5 times since update. Worse in GAC, where I tried to battle, it crashed and now I've lost the squad and nothing to except a lost battle to show for it.
This. Exactly this. Luckily still won. But could have cost the entire GAC
Same thing happened to me in GAC. Was about to go with my Sith Empire against a Maul+Mandalorians team and never got the chance to play because the screen froze while loading the battle. Made me change my planned strategy and lost the GAC. As a F2P the GAC is a very important crystal income for me and it's frustrating to lose because of a bug that used to be on the Sith Eternal Event until a few short months ago
I've had it lock up 4 times today in Conquest, which cost me 20 energy each and 1 time in Territory Wars. Not sure why the new update is causing more of this lockup, but I also experienced one while in battle when trying to retreat where the loading screen was animating over the battlefield animations.

I'm able to get this to happen more often by minimizing the app and bringing it back up. Example, get a text, go to that app and come back. If I crash the app and re-open it, it's less frequent.
Seems the more app bouncing around you do, the more often it happens. However, this didn't used to be the case.
I have this app to never sleep and that tends to help with loading. I also noticed after the freeze, if you minimize and bring it back up the screen goes to completely black. It's stuck loading the maps or something. I'm not going to record every battle, but I'll try to find a way to replicate it while video-ing if you will give back the 120 energy I lost in Conquest. Its a small price to pay, in my mind.
Same issues I'm experiencing on android, happens in gac and conquest and fleet battles. Have reinstalled but still having the issue
It's been more frequent as of late. Seems even more often to be when I'm looking at the datacrons or opposing teams character stats from the squad setup screen.
However, I've had it lockup from every change in screen in the game. Battles, stores, Challenges, maps, etc. Not sure what this is about but by my tally I've lost 6 rounds of GAC, 2 full refreshes worth of Conquest energy, 12 waves in Geo TB, 4 Battles in TW and that's just my account since the title update. We shorted a star in TB because of how many people are freezing and that's not just Samsung, Apple phones too.
I've talked to more people that aren't reporting than you might believe, so this is a serious issue. Losing GL tokens must be infuriating.
Last lockup I restarted my app just before clicking the battle and it still froze. I've been restarting before every block of Battles I do. I try not to switch between apps before beginning battles.
@EA_Gunner have you been able to replicate it yet?
Same here, game froze on a loading screen after the force of the Title Update, thankfully it was only on a Conquest battle costing me 20 energy and not on a GAC battle.

@EA_GunnerWhy do you keep telling everyone to check the basic troubleshooting guide, when there are massive amounts of people reporting the same bug after the last title update? Instead of asking us to go to a generic document, can you give more insight on what part of the guide might help us? clearly this isn't just one person having a single issue when there are tons of new bug reports and people replying and "ME Too!"ing them.
I had the same problem in my first GAC match. The game froze before the battle; the music continued playing but the load icon froze. I waited at least five minutes but nothing happened. After restarting the game, it shows that I have attacked. I did not get points for attempting this battle (0 points but 1 battle "fought").
I've had this happen to every gac battle lately, especially ships. My game literally crashes multiple times a day now. I missed out on wat shards today. I'm considering quitting specifically over losing gac when I should be getting wins.
lost another gac due to game freezing upon entering a battle. and here I thought it was fixed because it hadn't happend for a few days.
you know, some crystals to make up for the loss of crystals and previously conquest currency would go a long way toward, you know, customer support?
I filled out your survey, as did many people, in hopes of "helping you fix it." Can you help us feel like you actually care that this is destroying our in game experience?

Thank you for the report. We attempted to reproduce your report on multiple devices but we were not able to confirm any issues on our side. All battles could be started and completed without freezes or crashes.

@EA_Gunnerjudging by the amount of people in my guild, reddit and this forums complaining after the latest client update, I would go out on a limb and say your integration/e2e test depth is not sufficient.
I've had losing freezes in pretty much all have modes. Lost tons of conquest energy, 2 gac rounds, arena ranks. Freezes in bronzium openings and searching gear locations from the toon screen. I'm on a Samsung s21... Are any apple users seeing any issues? If EA can't replicate the error, just play my game for 3 minutes. It will freeze.

I had just killed Lord Vader's team members, Royal guard and Thrawn. Attempting to launch a second attack on LV using Sith Eternal Emperor and Wat, with the SEE extra ult charge datacron equipped.
Loading screen freeze.
Spinny loading icon not spinning.
Wait a minute or two. Force close game.
Me too. I was taking SEE/Wat into a GAC battle and it froze on the loading screen. Probably cost me the match
Mine seems to better after I flushed 4gb of crap from my cache...

I have had the game freeze at loading screen in tw, conquest and GAC. It started happening after I downloaded the update from the store early, and has continued after the content update as well.
I think it has only happened after the game has been going for a while, 5 or 6 battles done.
I confirm I have the same issue...
I lost a battle in the GAC, in the fleet arena an din the conquest....
