Game freeze and crash with iOS notification

We have tested on an iPhone 7 and were unable to reproduce this. We are attempting to source an iPhone 13 Pro Max to test on.

Are there any notifications in particular that you noticed this with?

It happens the most with the alarm notification banner. If I just swipe up (snooze), Most of the time, it does not happen.

If I swipe down to interact with it, it happens much more frequently.

It also occurred with Calendar notification for a meeting.

I had an iPhone 7 and it happened with less frequency. I recently changed to the 13 and it happen more frequently.

It is an annoying issue.

On the iPhone 7, it never frozen, just lost the audio or crashed right away without showing the banner. But looking at the time, I knew it was the alarm.

This is happening to me at least 5 times already and I've pin-pointed it to being the notifications. I just got a new phone two days ago. Was previously on iPhone X without any issues -- but after upgrading to iPhone 13 Pro Max, every time I get a notification or a phone call while I'm in swgoh, I lose the game sound... then a few seconds later, the game crashes. This happened twice just now in Territory Wars while my alarms for my payout were going off. Game crashed twice in a battle. Details of my phone below:

iOS version: 15.1

Model: iPhone 13 Pro Max

Are there any updates on this? Seems like a major issue if a game is crashing on notifications. Disastrous in modes like GAC and TW where there is no do-over.
