Gear upgrade disappearing after being applied

Hey,

I have the same problem (14th August) and in my case it happened while gearing up Padmé (after the event). I have also contacted EA Support, but the only thing they told me was that their specialists are already working on this known Issue. For further Information I should look in the forums. Well, I hope that there will be a compensation, gear is hard to get.

    Hi @JoJo8896, thanks for explaining and helping me understand. 🙂 The upgrade resetting after being applied is something the studio are looking into so the advisor was correct there. I've no updates on this issue for now as the investigation is ongoing with that but once I have news I'll bump this thread.

    @EA_Lanna I talk yesterday and support told me that the problem is on Google. I don't know how Google is responsible for this situation. Since yesterday nothing change still i haven't recovered lost items. I think I have to talk again today.

    Hey @Lordmoll_27. you said you had the same two issues as @ImperialPerks, correct? Exactly the same? If not, can you share what exactly happened for you and with what character + items please? 

    Also I'm sorry if you were told that. There might have been some confusion as I'm not sure where the advisor would have gotten that from if your issue is the same as the OP's. I'll send them some feedback on it internally.

    Hi @JoJo8896, can you clarify which issue for me please? You are having the same problem in that the upgrade you applied was reset soon after or that you received an error message saying you had already crafted that item before? Or is it both?

    Hey,

    it is the first one. As mentioned I was gearing Padmé (using my energy and crystals) to bring her from gear 6 to gear 8/9. As I have nearly finished my planed updates, the game notified me of an error, telling me the "the client has to be restarted“. After I was back online, Padmé was again Gear 6, but the energy, crystals and also some of the gear I upgraded her with has just disappeared.

    @EA_Lanna I had problem with upgrade Malak level 9 (1 gear to upgrade to level 10). I was crafting a pieces for MK 7 Kyrotech Shock Prod. I used 350 crystal for refresh , 975 to buy 15 pieces of gear. When I collect all stuff and want to craft full piece of gear I had error "You have already crafted this piece of gear". After restard game all collected pieces was disappeared.

    Today again I was collected gear to upgrade Malak. This time was ok but still i have lost 360 cristals and 975 guild shop money

    Thanks for clearing that up for me @Lordmoll_27. The issue both you and @JoJo8896 are experiencing is being looked into by the studio so once I have any news to share following the investigation it'll be shared in this thread.

    I just had the same thing happen to me. I upgraded anakin to g12 and now he is back to g11. There is more. I bought several things from the shard store. None of those items are in my inventory and my shard currency has been reduced but all of the items are showing as bought 

    update. Since I have no faith at all that you will resolve this issue in a timely manner I bought more mats and got anakin up to G12 again. It would have been a simple fix for you to mail me the mats while you try to fix the technical glitch
