Geo Spy not gaining TM under IG-88 Lead

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Under IG-88 lead, geonosian spy is not gaining 70% TM when a geonosian inflicts a damage over time upon scoring a crit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use Geonosians under IG-88 lead

    Thanks for the report.
    @UnknownJedi2 is correct that this issue was reported and fixed before, but it seems the bug is back.
    We've now flagged it accordingly.

    This has been mentioned in 2016 and no fix came. I hope a fix comes soon as it would make them at least fun in TW if no where else. From the code listed on swgoh.gg and the description of the leader ability, it really does say that the ally (geo or not) is the one who applies the DOT, therefore it should trigger the TM gain if a Geo ally lands a crit and therefore a DOT.

    Here are 2 screenshots. One before attack, one after attack. Notice Spy's TM does not change even though a dot was applied. Wording of IG88 lead says ally applies the DOT. It should trigger TM gain.

    Hi, it's been a while since I asked about this topic - there is still no bugfix for 3/4 year now. Whats is going on? You know I am patient and understand that the underlying issue might be complicated but Finn got a complete rework due to his issues in the sith raid but you are unable to fix this bug? This sounds like a joke...

    Yeah this is a bit crazy that it hasn't been fixed yet. Geonosians were given a TW buff recently but they cannot even make use of the best lead for the team. Can we please get some sort of update on this? This bug has been going on for quite some time.
