Gift Card Promotion Problem
I redeemed both gift cards yesterday as part of the apple gift card via Target in the US promotion.
Only one of the Gift Card rewards came to my account.
I've already tried EA Help roughly 12 times. Most of the time the EA Support people just tell me both cards were redeemed, and close the chat.
The reality is this--I redeemed the $25 card when the hotfix was happening. I didn't realize there was a hotfix, I don't sit in the forums all day. So when I hit redeem, the app on my phone said the client had to restart.
Even though apparently in the log the EA support people have access to, it says the rewards were redeemed, they never made it into my account.
I also redeemed a $50 card, and those rewards did make it into my account successfully.
Nothing I say can convince the EA help people to actually look into the data in my account, to see that the lesser package rewards never made it there. It's clear as day if you look at the numbers. It's not like I could have gotten them, spent them, and lied about it if someone looks. There should be a data trail on this that is easy to follow, but no one at EA help will take the time to look for me.
Finally, ask yourself this EA. Why would I lie and ask for someone to do a true audit of my account. I'd be easily caught. I WANT someone to look into the true numbers of my account so they will clearly see I never got the $25 gift card rewards, regardless of what the high level data says.
