grand arena championship tie

Same thing happened to me. We tied in banners, but opponent got the win even though I have the higher GP (see screenshots). Even though GP changes after lock-in period, I don't see how the opponent could reduce their GP by 500-600k (our GP difference) since I don't increase my GP much since then.

Also @sedeller : customer service is wrong. You can't have both lose, we're supposed to win according to the old Grand Arena Rules. How are they going to do the matchmaking for Round 2 if they have 3 winners and 5 losers?

Tiebreakers: In the rare occasion of the event ending with tied banners, the player with the higher GP will win. In the extremely rare chance of equal Banners and equal GP, a random player wins.

The same thing also happened to me. I had higher GP at the start of the GA and i lost to a tie breaker. Tie breakers are meant to go to the person with the hightest GP according to theor own dev post

This is a huge error and needs to be rectified ASAP

Yea that's what i thought also, that the higher gp gets the win, so filed an issue, and they told me that. So I said ok fine, and checked the leaderboard, and my opponent got the win, which didn't make sense either, so I called again. Then they said we will look into this and told me to post on here. Ridiculous, this isn't an issue that should be happening lol. I'm like you kaizer, I had 300+ gp on my opponent, so there's no way I could could have increased my gp that much.

And I have another issue, the gp for the same person isn't even the same...

I had the same issue. I forgot to set defense and my opponent didn't try to attack me, so we both ended with 540 banners I have 400k more character GP than my opponent but he got the win.

Same issue for me. Tie in GAC, and lost with both overall GP and Character GP much higher than my opponent.

Will lose out on Rewards for first place because of this. Instead, I will now get rewards for 2nd to 4th. That is a huge loss in GAC score and in tokens, gear etc. Looking at the guy my former opponent is now facing for first, that was a sure win. The guy is using Nightsisters for an arena squad — and it really isn't getting any better if you take a look at his remaining roster.

Compared with DR + Malak and 7 more meta teams on my side of the table ... That really shouldn't be happening and I shouldn't have to be left with lesser rewards after I made sure I would at least tie the second round, because I knew I had more GP and should win that way.

This bug is a bummer. I'm glad it's not an isolated event. That being said maybe a fix will be in the works sooner than later. Just lost my second tie again due to this.

I have the same problem. draw on points, I have more gp. but I lost. and lost championship points.
