    I fixed the issue šŸ„³

    Root Cause

    EA Games Store does not accept communications from virtual machines (PC's) that are behind a NAT. This may be true for physical workstations as well.

    Solution

    1. Change the network adapter type on your virtual machine from NAT
    2. Enable 'Replicate physical network state' checkbox

     

    Conclusion

    It's very bad and cheesy šŸ§€ that this game does not warn you that you will be blocked -only- from the Store Purchases if you are behind a NAT. There is no where that I can find šŸ‘€ where this restriction is mentioned.

    I was able to workaround this by logging in from my phone (which is not optimal for me) but there is a daily gift šŸŽ exclusive to PC Client users that would still be unobtainable if this issue wasn't resolved. I also noticed that the Gifts tab was never available to me unless I logged on to the mobile version. Again, this was never mentioned anywhere.
