how to change player name

I am unable to change my player name. I'm stuck with it now ☹️ It would be nice to make the change. I can't change my username on the Forums either!!!

    Hi @ronoaldojlp.

    To change your username in-game, tap on your name (with the level besides and XP bar below) at the top (beside the cog-wheel) to get to the detail screen of your account.

    Top left you see your username with a little pencil beside. If you tap on the pencil, you can edit your username.

    Please be aware that underaged accounts don't have that option available.

    I was able to change my username in the game by selecting the experience tab; however, my son is unable to do so, and we tried on four different devices from android to ios.

    underaged accounts (if you select age below 18) cant change name

    I know how you said the pencil will appear on kinda old accounts, I have been playing for a year now and it still hasn't appeared
