Is the matchmaking broken ?

Question

I won't make a 100 pages topic but has the rules of matchmaking changed in grande arena ? Before i always had only a bit of differences with those i fought against. Sometime i thought it was a bit too much but i clenched my teeth and got destroyed like a real nerd^^

But this time i'm just not okay with it : I have between 200k to 500K of Galactic Power difference of the others. Dunno if you realise how stupidly unfair that is ? It's several teams of difference. I almost feel the breath of the devs whispering "you've been chosen to be the sacrifice, you're the ultimate free win" in my ear...

How such a difference is possible ? Will it be the norm from now on ? If yes i'll clearly stop there not only the grande arena but the game itself.

Hi @Vaggarath and thanks for the report!

This Grand Arena has no fleet zones, so all player matching is based entirely on "Character GP." This was an improvement requested by the community who felt it wasn't fair that ship GP was being used to match players.

Now, you will see a "GP discrepancy", but remember that any variance in ship GP is irrelevant. Only the character GP matters.

Can you provide images of your GP and your opponents' GP, so I can review, or the ally codes for you and your opponents?
