Territory Battle Rewards

Hello,

I am trying to resolve an issue with the most recent Territory Battle reward distribution. I have messaged through the EA Help in-game option and they are no assistance at all.

Issue: I was not able to claim my Territory Battle rewards.

Details: I play two accounts in SWGOH. My main account was in a guild that decided to go through a merger. I decided that I did not want to be apart of it so I talked with my former guild where my alt account was still at, and we worked in out to shuffle around the accounts after the Territory Battle event was over and rewards were claimed. I was on my way back home from an out of state trip at the time when TB ended and unable to claim the rewards for the event right away when they were sent out. For my main this was no issue as I was able to log on later that night, claim my rewards and leave the guild I was in to rejoin my old guild. For my alt however, one of the guild officers got a little trigger happy and removed my alt from the guild after rewards were sent out. He believed that since rewards were sent, that this was a safe action and would make things easier for me whenever I logged on, and make for a smoother transition. However I was not able to claim my rewards. This is a major setback for my account as this was the TB that would unlock Reva (3rd Sister) for my account as well as missing out on the event currencies, gear and crystals that I should have received. I participated in every phase of the event, was apart of the guild during the time that rewards were sent out and so I should be fairly compensated for these rewards. I have had lackluster responses from the EA Help team using the in-game messaging system. And I am being told that I need to be apart of the guild I started with in order to receive rewards. Well, now I am. I have rejoined the guild on that account. I would like my rewards sent. I know that the data and technology exist to make this happen. And all I am asking for is for what I should have receieved.

So far I have experienced poor customer service and a lack of empathy to the situation. This is an easy fix that has been made more frustrating and difficult from the way it is being handled.

It is not right, or proper, for my account to be punished by not receiving rewards from an event that I fully participated in just because someone else made a mistake. The guild received rewards according to my effort. So why can my account also not reap those rewards? It makes zero sense.

  • You need to be in the guild still to claim your rewards, since your alt was booted before you could claim them, they are gone. Not much anyone can do about it.

That's a cheap excuse to do nothing.

There's a quick and simple solution to the problem that is well within their ability to do and that they certainly have the technology for.

Your response shows me that people aren't seeing the bigger issue so let me phrase the problem in a different way.

I've put nearly a week worth of effort into an activity and received zero rewards. The activity is one of the most important activities in the game which provides a large payout of resources that further advance game progression. And my account is being punished due to someone else's error, not my own.

This is a quality of life issue in regards to reward distribution that affects the entire player base and shouldn't be pushed off by an empty reason to not take action. It's lazy.

  • Man, cg and other 3rd party API using tools have the ability to track almost everything in this game from what events people participated in, what the guild rosters were like, what the historic results were...

The response they gave you signals proof of your claim (that not being in a guild does indeed make you unable to access the rewards), and makes it absurd they won't just open up a spreadsheet to see what you should have received and re-send it.

It speaks volumes about how little they are willing to do to help players remediate honest issues they run into with the reward pipeline. I'm sure this kind of stuff makes it really stressful for guild managers and such to know how to maintain their player rosters and stuff.

Kind of goofy and hopefully cg just takes the 5 minutes to find your name on a spreadsheet and manually send you the reva shards at least.

I’m not failing to see anything, your officer made a mistake. Have you had luck in the past calling the folks you want help from “lazy”? Anyway, good luck with your quest

I said that the reason is lazy, not the people.

They have the capability to resolve the issue and choosing not to do it.

I meet all the criteria for receiving the rewards as I was a part of the guild before the activity started, participated in every phase, was a part of the guild when the activity ended, and was a part of the guild when the rewards were distributed. All four of the requirements to receive rewards were satisfied, they have that data available to them.

All I'm trying to get is what I was already rewarded but unable to claim
