Jawacron Thermal Detonators Bugged?

I recently had a TW battle where I sent Jawas/Kuiil/IG11 with full level 15 datacron against a Ahsoka Tano Spectre squad (no Ezra). I had a point where all 5 had well over 200 thermal detonator on them (AT and Sabine had 292 each), but when I detonated with Scavenger's Scrap Bomb special, only Sabine died and AT didn't even get dented. I get that Morai's Wisdom might have reduced damage, but with 300 TDs, there is no way they all survived. What gives? Is this mechanic bugged?

Not to mention that the lag when trying to detonate that many TDs was considerable; froze for at least 10 seconds.
