Malak Light Side Event Droid Spawn Issue

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Most of the time (approx 66% of the time)
Summarize your bug: In the Malak LS event, the droids stop respawning at various times during the event. Sometimes this occurs early, sometimes it occurs later in the event. It doesn't seem to trigger based on the captive jedi being alive or dead (by the player or by Malak). The issue is that Malak is supposed to have the possibility to respawn droids after they're dead, but this chance is clearly not occurring because he will go from 8 stacks to full enrage and never summon droids back again. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt the event a few times and you should see the issue appear.

This is working as designed. The side droids only have a chance to respawn which is not 100%.

Hey Gunner,
Thank you for your response. If I could ask one quick follow up question to help add some clarity. Are you saying that if the droids fail to respawn once, the event is designed to never have an opportunity for them to respawn afterwards? I ask because I've seen a variety of behavior during this event. Example below:
Situation 1:
Malak Turn 1: Both droids have previously been killed. Malak does not respawn droids. Instead attacks.
Malak Turn 2: Malak respawns droids.
The situation I'm referring to and shows in my video is:

Malak Turns 2 through turns 21: Malak doesn't summon droids, only attacks until enraged.

Yeah I have the same issue. It's definitely not working as intended. It's very broken and if the ea guy gunner were to read the description of the event it clearly states you need the droids to manage the rage. He also attacks way more than he should in malak. He also hits far harder than he should. This is intended for t12 originally but I think it got way ramped up since relic tiers they just never bothered to change the description. Because it's impossible now at t12 so working on getting everyone relic to hopefully just overwhelm him. Because I believe now it's overpowered or bust with malak. If they'd actually analyze and fix the right no problem. But they'll never do that so there's that I suppose.

Not working as intended, working as bugged. This issue persists in 2024. If you set up an encounter with mechanics, make sure the mechanics are working. If the only way to win is to completely over-level the encounter, it is not working as intended.
