Music from background apps no longer plays while in game after update

After the 7/31 update music from spotify/itunes/other sources doesn't play from my phone even with the in-game sound totally off. Please fix this I can't handle the silence. This is my happy time to ...

2 months. Still not fixed. Please prioritize this issue. This is much more important than releasing new packs or whatever is coming.
