Nightsister Zombie revives vs Boba Fett’s Execute

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Android Phone
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? Game Mechanics
OS Version 6.0.1
Ally Code: (Find it here: http://bit.ly/AllyCode ) 775338965
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug One of these three skills is bugged. Boba Fet execute or Bount Hunter Resolve or Nightsister Zombie Endless Horde
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Put the Boba Fett to fight another Boba Fett. Leave the hp of a Boba Fett down and use the ability to perform. Even though Boba Fett has Bount Hunter Resolves he will not be able to relive, even though his ability tells him to revive him that he can not be prevented. Put Boba Fett against Nightsiter Zumbi and some other Nightsister. Kill zombie with run, the zombie will revive anyway. The same process can be done with Nihilus's Annihilate can be done against Boba Fett and Zumbi. If everything is ok, according to the will of the developers, then the texts of the skills should be reviewed. Sorry for my small English, and thank you so much.

Use the Execute ability on another Boba Fett, and even if he has the Bount Hunter Resolves and he will not be revived, even though the ability declares that it can not be prevented. It's the same as the endless horde skill, but i'm use execute and the zombie revived. I suppose the Annihilate Ability of Darth Nihilus has the same bug.

If it is not a bug, the text of Bount Hunter Resolves should have removed from the text the part of the prevented, since it can prevent Boba Fett from reviving. I do not have Darth Nihilus to do tests.

  • Buff immunity cannot prevent Boba Fett from gaining the Resolve buff when he scores a kill, so the description is true. Execution (and similar attacks) can prevent him from reviving because they aren't preventing him from gaining the buff; they're preventing the actions/benefits derived from the buff.

That's why the zombie's ability description makes it perfectly clear that it's the revival action that can't be prevented. Because it's intended to be a different and better ability that acts as a veto against the kind of attack that normally kills characters like Boba Fett.
  • Execute specifically states that enemies can’t be revived.
    Same with DN.

Both those were out before zombie. People invested into those characters then CG makes a character that ignores previous abilities. I have found this unfair even though it has never personally affected me.

Note the Zombies ability is called Endless Horde - it is not just one zombie.  Boba Fett cannot execute an entire horde with one hit and neither can Darth Niles (arguably - he SHOULD be able to force drain the entire horde since he can force drain a planet....  but that's neither here nor there - LOL)

FYI - Execute and Annihilate will work on the other night-sisters or even GK if he's on the team - those other toons cannot be revived - speeding you to where you need to be to defeat the zombie.

maybe you are right, but than the bug lies within the description of endless horde:
When Nightsister Zombie is defeated while any other Nightsister allies are active, she is Revived

When Nightsister Zombie is defeated while any other Nightsister allies are active, a new zombie will take her place

but even if you change the discription of zombie it´s really a mess, i choose to farm a toon because of it´s abilities. hardly anyone knows every ability of every toon in that game from memory, so an update of bobas ability should also be done

btw: why is nightsister zombie female? i think a zombie should be it not he or she^^

  • It's WAI and the key on 'Endless horde' description is 'This Revive can't be prevented'. Also, it's not the first time this appears in game. Hera's 'Backup plan' works against Nihilus or Boba.

  • I don’t believe your understanding of Backup Plan is correct. Backup Plan the Buff itself cannot be dispelled or prevented. The revival part has no such clause and you can Annihilate/Execute it.

so thats the problem with descriptions when they stay untouched in a progressing game...

if you have "can´t be revived"
and "this revive can´t be prevented"

the only and reasonable consequence when you put them together: it´s not possible so the game had to stop, bring an error, maybe a message: "you have done something impossible, the fight will restart please try again with other toons" or something like that

btw. a pocket calculator long long time ago was already able to displayed an error if you wanted to make something impossible (like division by 0)

  • Agreed on the text.  A LOT of text could be cleared up in game and the bugs section wouldn't have an Endless Horde of people with 'Endless Horde' problems.

That being said - Zombie description wins by both being newer - and by the very meaning of the Words of the Ability - i.e. the Endless nature of the zombie Horde.

Still a lot of room for text improvement.
