@GladOS-013we could go at length with bugs that exist in the game that CG seems to not deem important to fix. that you could claim are working as designed. and we can discuss it in the swgoh forums, and be completely ignored by CG, indefinitely.
let me describe one that directly ties to this issue:
GA roster lock happens once, at the beginning of the week, before facing your 3 opponents. but the display of those rosters is NOT locked. so what we have is if you check on an opponent's roster on day 3 or 5... its not the same as day 1. why? because CG fails??
the burden is on the player to scout out every other player's roster/mods at that very moment at the star of the week and capture/memorize those rosters.... its ridiculous.
because.. as time goes on throughout the week, if players update their rosters... the rosters are still locked, but the display that is given to the opponents is not preserved and therefore inaccurate.
note how this can be exploited to fool your opponent, if they weren't capturing the data on day 1...
in the middle of the week, you could remove mods from a team, the display will tell your opponent the team has no mods. the opponent will think about fighting your team undersized, then.. they go in and fight what is really a team with mods enabled, as they were enabled when rosters locked... yet the display didn't lock... this is a bug that has existed. (not reported? or not bothered to fix? idk)
maybe this change to how rosters are locked on join instead of at end of join phase will indeed help prevent this, but time will tell. and the players are guinea pigs and testers, in a game they spend money on. and on a game mode that has been in the game for 12 months now.
