Not getting webstore daily gifts, can't buy in-app

I'm having two problems currently regarding purchases and free gifts:

1. In the webstore, I am not seeing the daily gift we are supposed to get. It says "Oops something went wrong, please check back later". I've been playing for a couple of months now and it was never available. The free 7 day calender we get now and then does show up though.
2. In the app, the store shows bundles where it says "tap for price". However when I do this, it says "Please ensure youn have network connectivity and a valid billing account, you have not been charged." I do have both active though (eg I can buy the episode pass).
