Just installed the EA Play and SWGOH client on a freshly new PC. The game loaded update data (roughly 40MB) just fine but after the message "Loading Cantina", the dialog appeared saying "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection.."
What I've tried: - Repair the client. - Uninstall & reinstall both EA Play and SWGOH. - Restart the PC. - Disable firewalls. - Change the DNS severs. - Unlink and reconnect EA account inside the game on my mobile.
None of them works. Same exact result.
I can play with my iPhone on the same network without any issues.
Strangely I can play on my phone via my home network just fine and never have had any problem at all. PC Clients seem to be routing through a different network maybe. But this is definitely a network issue.
No, it's not blocked. I can access the webstore even when the game is not connecting. Firewall is not the issue here, I've tried turning them off and no firewall running at the router or anywhere else.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything else to suggest. Have you tried contacting your ISP to see if there's something on their end that might be blocking access to the web store?
