This all just seems like a big case of confirmation bias.
I haven't noticed any issues. Wampa was never 100% consistent against Mothma there was also a chance to lose.
If you're still convinced there's a bug, record your videos and post them here.
For example, here is my Wampa from this round behaving exactly as she should.

We saw more people in the guild losing these battles and folks are still reporting issues on Reddit too. It seems to be a specific issue relating to Counter attacking but also potentially the stat increases aren't being reflected?
