Possible bug with Wampa omicron not working in GAC

Summarize your bug Omicron Wampa suddenly gets destroyed in this GAC by teams that she easily and consistently beat in past GAC.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Set up a GAC fight with an omicron Wampa against Mon Mothma Rebel Fighters and watch Wampa crumble. Rinse and repeat, she'll probably lose nearly every time.

Numerous players confirmed that in this most recent GAC, omicron Wampa was easily defeated by teams that she can normally handle with ease -- specifically General Grievous and Mon Mothma teams. My relic 3 omicron Wampa had a nearly 100% success rate defeating Mon Mothma-led Rebel Fighters to date, yet in this most recent GAC round she lost all 3 such battles, including against a Mon Mothma team with several Gear 12 characters. Wampa died before taking her 2nd or 3rd turn, and rarely counter-attacked.

(I didn't change Wampa mods and most of the teams that beat me didn't have datacrons, either).

My March/April GAC 5v5 performance isn't yet available on SWGOH.gg, but I lost all 3 Wampa vs Mon Mothma rebel battles in less than 30 seconds.

I didn't detail my 3v3 performance with Wampa but from the battles available on SWGOH.gg, my record was 13-1 since January, only losing to a turn-meter-loaded Admiral Raddus team.

    This all just seems like a big case of confirmation bias.

    I haven't noticed any issues. Wampa was never 100% consistent against Mothma there was also a chance to lose. 

    If you're still convinced there's a bug, record your videos and post them here.

    For me as well. Wampa couldn’t defeat Grievous and Mon Mothma.

    There’s definitely something going on, looking at the win% against those teams (see swgoh.gg).

    I pulled data from SWGOH.gg on seasons 34, 36, and 38 (all 5v5) where Wampa was used against a Mon Mothma-led team. These are the results for the 5 most commonly-used teams (slots 4 and 5 change a bit between seasons but there are 3 clear most-used teams). The win rate between the three seasons is mostly consistent, varying only a few percent, except for one case:

    When Wampa fights a team of Mon Mothma, Cara Dune, Hoth Rebel Scout, Kyle Katarn, and Pao (by a factor of 3x-4x the most commonly-used defense), Wampa historically won 82%-83% of those battles. But in the first round of season 38, that dropped to 71.4%. No other Mon Mothma team composition saw a drop like that.

    I heard several accounts of Wampa performing worse against General Grievous teams so I looked at that. This data is a little trickier to spot any anomalies because Wampa's performance against GG teams on the whole has been declining (unlike against MM teams). However there was one team where Wampa's performance decreased dramatically in round 38, and Droideka appears to be the factor. While the Droideka omicron doesn't affect GAC, we should expect that people who gave DDK the new omicron might also have put extra gear and relics on DDK, and given DDK's ability to unleash a huge amount of damage at once, that may explain why that team performs much better than other GG teams in round 38 so far. Curiously, Wampa's performance against GG teams with IG-88 did not decrease in round 38.

    If you are willing to dig deeper, it seems your attention might be most valuable if focused only on the Mon Mothma + Cara + Scout + Kyle + Pao teams to explain why they are suddenly performing much better against Wampa.

    @52eeb206b9fe0f64 I have never failed against GG and I lost within 30 seconds. Definitely. It working right. There was no Droideka DC either just a level 6 blind one which doesn’t effect wampas basic. This needs to be sorted as I have likely lost my GAC because of it

    This just happened to me and caused me to lose GAC because I sent in a r5 wampa vs MM with 3 chars at G12.

    Same here. R5 wampa vs R3 MM with G12 support. I've never gotten less than -1 banners from this battle. Cost me the GAC.
