Punishing One Event Game Crash

I was playing the punishing one event last month, competed the battle and got the victory screen, but then the game crashed. When I logged back, I could reply the event but could no longer get the ‘first time’ shards as the game registered me completing it but not given the reward. 

I’ve been in contact with EA help for the past month but have been going in circles. Can I get this issue resolved here and get the ‘first time’ shards I was meant to receive?

Any help would be appreciated.
